The process starts with careful preparation work that provides the best conditions for painting. The rims are removed from the vehicle and thoroughly scrubbed to remove all grease, dirt and dust. Before wheel paint can be applied, the wheels need to be prepped for a good working surface. Our technicians remove imperfections that will spoil the finish.
Next, primer is applied to the wheel. The primer physically adheres to the casting and promotes corrosion resistance. After the primer has dried/cured, the liquid base coat is applied. Our wheel custom coloring service offers a wide selection of paint colors and finishes, so don’t be afraid to get creative.
After we apply multiple coats of paint it is allowed to cure (dry thoroughly), then this step is followed by clear coating to add protection to the wheel. After the clear-coated wheels are dry, our experienced technicians inspect the rims to ensure they meet our quality standards.
